Security
The security of your personal information is very important to us. In an effort to protect your personal information, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology with 128 bit encryption provided through virtual cart (www.vcart.com). If your browser supports SSL (most current browsers do), it will automatically encrypt the information you provide to us on the secure pages on our site, before sending it over the Internet.

The Pierce Company's website is also tested and certified daily by ScanAlert to receive its Hacker Safe Certification which ensures that the website passes the FBI/SANS Internet Security Test.

When visiting a page on our site that includes any of your personal information, the bottom of your browser window will display, an icon of a closed lock or an unbroken key (depending upon your browser). This indicates that you have successfully connected with our vcart secure server.

To authenticate the security of your connection before submitting any of your personal information, you can double click on the icon to display our virtual cart digital certificate.

Some browser versions and some firewalls do not permit communication through secure servers. In that case, we suggest that you visit our showroom, contact us by phone, or fax your order to us.

How to access and/or correct Your Information
You can access all the personally identifiable information that we collect and maintain by phoning 800-338-9801 or 612-721-7254, mail (3307 Snelling Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55406), or via email (sales@thepierceco.com). We use this procedure to safeguard your information. To protect your privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections. You can correct factual errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request that credibly shows the error.

If you place an order with a ship-to address that differs from your bill-to address, we retain this information as well. You can modify or correct this information by following the procedure described above. Such information is used at your request to ship purchased merchandise and may also be used for marketing purposes, but will never be sold to any third parties.

Placing an order
When you decide to place an order, you are asked to complete an order form. The order form requires your name, billing and shipping address, credit card number, expiration date and CID#. You should also include other information fields such as your telephone number, to allow us to contact you regarding your order if necessary. This information is collected to make your shopping experience with us as smooth and pleasant as possible. It is used only for the benefit of The Pierce Company and you, our customer.

Our site contains links to manufacturersÕ and other related sites for your benefit. We can not be held responsible for the privacy practices, security, or content of such web sites. If you click on one of these links, you will be redirected to their web site and, in doing so, you may provide information directly to them. We may use your information in a number of ways, including the following: In order to serve you better, we may combine the information you provide us online, in our store and through our catalogues. We use that information to improve your overall shopping experience. We also use your information for marketing and promotional purposes.

You may request to receive the Pierce Company catalog by mail, or e-mail notification of specials that may be of interest to you. We will never SPAM or send unsolicited materials based on information collected from our site. Registrants may opt out of receiving materials from us at any time by contacting us with such request. If you are a California resident, you have the right to receive: (a) information identifying all third party companies to whom The Pierce Company may have disclosed, within the past year, personal information pertaining to you and your family for that company's direct marketing purposes; and (b) a description of the categories of personal information disclosed. Pierce Order Guide

Methods of Payment
We accept Visa, Discover, and Mastercard credit cards, and PayPal. We do not accept COD terms. Net 30 day payment terms are available to established accounts. All invoices must be paid in US funds.

Pricing
The Pierce Company is a wholesale distributor. The prices of many of our products (albums, presentation products, and packaging supplies) are wholesale prices, and purchase requires a valid tax identification number and/or proof of business. Please be aware that some prices change throughout the year, particularly the prices of lighting and technical equipment.

Order Turnaround
All orders of stocked goods are shipped within 48 hours. Please notify us if you require your order by a specific date. Custom painted backgrounds normally take 7-10 days in house, however, even faster delivery may be available upon request depending upon our current production schedule.

Minimum Order
Our minimum order is $30.00 in merchandise or a $6.00 processing fee will be applied.

Shipping Options
We ship DHL ground, Spee-Dee, or UPS parcel service whenever possible. When merchandise exceeds parcel service height and/or weight limits, LTL truck or air freight service will be used. All shipments are sent FOB Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. UPS 1 day, 2 day, and 3 day express shipping is available. Additional fees apply. Same day express service shipments can be sent out until 3:00PM central time.

Return and Exchange Policy
Items purchased from stock and in like new condition may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of the original invoice date. A restocking fee will be applied to returns of any custom manufactured or special ordered goods, and some perishable art supplies. A few custom manufactured and special ordered goods are also not returnable. If you have questions about your specific order, ask your Pierce representative. Refunds will be issued via the original method of payment only. All returns must be pre-approved and shipped to Pierce prepaid with a return authorization (RA) number displayed on the outside of the box. Contact a Pierce representative to arrange for return and receive an RA number. Returns must be received by Pierce within 30 days of the original invoice date. Return freight charges are the customer's responsibility.

Lost or Damaged Goods
Our orders are shipped FOB Minneapolis, MN. The Pierce Company is not responsible for items lost or damaged in shipment. Please inspect your shipment carefully upon arrival, and note any damaged or missing items immediately with the carrier. In the unfortunate event that items are damaged or missing from your order, The Pierce Company will be happy to assist you in filing a claim with the carrier.
